Last Film You Watched


Black Swan for the second time. Watched it first years ago. I liked it then, and liked it better this time.

Who woulda guessed after the Star Wars prequels and the strong as oak wooden acting from Portman that she'd actually deserve Best Actress someday?

To be fair, she was awesome in Garden State well before Swan.

Who cares mate? Seriously it's a great film so just enjoy it for what it is and stop troubling yourself over the money that a billion dollar corporation makes.

Avenegers was great. Justice League was a let down, let it go and move on.

Rumors of the Snyder Cut being released but it's a bit too late. Justice League was very Age of Ultron but without a complete shift of direction and tone.

It's a shame because DC have some great characters but they have seen to want to rush everything rather then introduced them individually and collectively.

Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Shazam are good films and did well by why on earth have they not done a Flash film yet considering how popular the TV series is, is beyond me.

The next series of Marvel films will be a struggle but they can add X-Man and Fantastic 4 which will help.

Doubt the Snyder cut will ever happen. The only people who'll be interested is fanboys like me. Everrying you say about justice league is true. It was just a massive let down.

If they're going to make anything work they need to just purely focus on standalone movies with different tones for a long while now. They seem to be doing that with Shazam and Joker. They need to take a back step now.

Flash should of been one of their first films. Sadly they made a terrible choice whem casting him and a film with that lad as the lead would flop like a jelly on a wet mattress.

X-Men done properly will carry Disney on for a good while yet. I don't know if the Fantastic Four works in 2019 though.

I'm not taking it personally mate. I just don't understand why otherwise rational people seem to value the money a giant corporate entity makes (or judge a movie based on the cash it's made). I'd be saying the exact same thing about Warner Bros if the situation was reversed.

I’m a box office fan, its linked to films and a thing people take notice of. You don’t have to comment on it, its only an observation.

I like X-MAN but Christ it's been done to death.

If they can pull off a new X-MAN it will be a hell of an effort.

Fair enough, personally I would just rather talk films and if we thought them or not and why. Personally seeing the money these studios and corporations make off us makes me sick. Much the same as it does when I break down money in football.

To each their own.;)

I'm not a fan of the idea of the X-Men in the main MCU. It takes away their core theme for me. Mutants need to be feard and despised for being different but who's gonna be afraid of mutants after seeing guys like Groot and Rocket Raccoon?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure an X-Men Vs Avengers movie would do very well and I've no doubt they can do enough cool things to attract the audience they've built over the last decade. I just think it would be terrible storywise.

Its entertainment and a business. Playing packed houses has a direct correlation in what will be available to you in future. If DC had done well we’d all be watching the Flash movie this year. That Marvel keep hitting it out of the park means the proof is in the pudding that they and others will keep making Superhero flicks for all of us to enjoy as long as they are profitable.

The biggest problems for Marvel will be Disney. They sell merch not movies so they won't care if it's good or keeps to the tone of the comics.

X-Man v Avengers would be excellent but I don't think they could do another 20 movies which they claim they will do because it's very much boom bust for Superheroes movies.

However Disney will be creaming themselves over the toys they can flog with 2 teams to sell
