Last Film You Watched

Aladdin

To begin with I didn’t really like it at all. Luckily ot grew on me. Jasmin was hot af, the Aladdin actor was likeable and Will Smith did good. Just as expected I struggled when they started singing (with 2-3 exceptions). Visuals where superb. Villain was trash and they really underused Jago. 6/10

Rocketman: The Elton John Therapy Session Movie

More abstract than I was expecting, a decent watch though, and filled with his songs which are mostly boss.

7.5 bananas out of 10

John Wick 3. Didn't realise there were so many ways you can kill someone. Defo staying away from horses.

Have to say, after 3 films, why are various bad guys still trying to kill him. They are literally wading through rivers of blood and body parts to get to him. Surely at least one of the faceless goons is going to have a 'hang on...' moment.

Other than that, it's still fun.

Mesmerising - loved it.
I think it’s one that will polarise opinion, I was bored stiff.

Brightburn

Cool concept that was executed well, good acting and some decent carnage and atmosphere. Biggest issue was that I never cared for a single character. Still well worth watching though. 7/10

Just watched The Town on NOW TV. Ben Affleck film from 2010 - in which he writes, directs and stars. Remember hearing good things back when it came out but it was never shown at my local cinema.

Really good flick. Like a crossover between Heat and the Departed, without quite hitting the giddy heights of those movies - but no shame in that - it was still an awesome film. Excellent turn by Jeremy Renner for which he was Oscar nominated too. Me and my wife both really enjoyed it.

Aladdin 8/10 very entertaining once you get past Will Smith in blue, which isn’t as bad as i thought

On Netflix - Brawl in Cell Block 99.

Bizarrely stars Vince Vaughan as a hard man, but he’s surprisingly good.

Quite slow and takes its’ time, but uber-violent and gruesome.

Made by the same guy who made Bone Tomahawk - which if anyone has seen, will get how gruesome I’m talking.
