Been wanting to see this one for years. Had no idea what it was about, but I've heard so many talk about how great a film it is and it didn't disappoint. Truly a masterpiece of it's time. 10/10

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

It’s hard for me to give a fair judgement because I’m a massive nerd and this kinda stuff gives me a little stiffy. The CGI is nuts, the monsters are cool (Ghidorah’s heads actually didn’t look as good as I expected) but the storyline is a bit ludicrous.

Also wanted to kick the mum in the face repeatedly for 2 hours.

I watched it today and feel quite similar. It is by no means a good film and unsurprisingly for a film like this the story makes little to no sense.

But that’s not what you go to this sort of film for. Seeing the massive monsters smashing around beating the hell out of each other is what it’s for and it largely nailed that aspect.

I think if you go into it just expecting to enjoy the spectacle of it then you won’t be disappointed.

Just come back for Godzilla 2!

I fell asleep as Watanabe was about to do something mental...kept having to wake myself up

My mate slept up to the hydra appeared then dozed off again shortly after for a few mins...

Girlfriend watched it all...was just amazed how bad it was and kept asking what the rating online was

Well, my rating is 0/10. Havent slept during a movie in years.

Awful awful awful.

I read it was meant to be super loud but didnt seem so? If i go to the cinema i never sleep as i feel its wasting the admission fee...but i literally dozed off...

One of those times like when the alarm is going and you force yourself to wake up then realise youre 20mins late

I'm watching Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. I loved this film as a kid but haven't seen it for ages. Wow it has aged badly. Like really, really badly.
