After a few good recommendations on here watched this last night on Netflix.

Excellent film and all the better for them not dubbing it and leaving it in Norwegian with subs.

Fun fact: The main character (Baalsrud) is actually the DJ in arguably Norways biggest hip hop group (Klovner i Kamp) and had very little acting experience prior to this film. A couple of cameos, judging by IMDB. The 12th Man to me was probably the 3rd or 4th best movie of the year in 2018. Oh and I'm a big fan of Rhys Meyers. He should get more big roles.

Yeah, he basically has 2 cameos as himself in two Norwegian comedy films (Tomme Tønner & Tomme Tønner 2, never seen them. Tomme Tønner means Empty Barrels) and some role in one episode of a tv-series (actually looks like some christmas music tv-show, when I look at IMDB).

Just saw A Simple Plan again. Forgot how brilliant Billy Bob Thornton and Bill Paxton are in that film. Billy Bob's character, in particular, is quite well-done.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

It’s hard for me to give a fair judgement because I’m a massive nerd and this kinda stuff gives me a little stiffy. The CGI is nuts, the monsters are cool (Ghidorah’s heads actually didn’t look as good as I expected) but the storyline is a bit ludicrous.

Also wanted to kick the mum in the face repeatedly for 2 hours.

I did enjoy it however, then again I tend to enjoy a good ol Disney film.

It would of been a 5 but Nicole Kidmans arse is deffo still worth 1.

I watched it today and feel quite similar. It is by no means a good film and unsurprisingly for a film like this the story makes little to no sense.

But that’s not what you go to this sort of film for. Seeing the massive monsters smashing around beating the hell out of each other is what it’s for and it largely nailed that aspect.

I think if you go into it just expecting to enjoy the spectacle of it then you won’t be disappointed.

I try to not like Kevin Hart but I just can't. He's good at what he does. Brian Cranston is an utter star and Nicole Kidman puts in a great performance in this film as well. Maybe it's all a bit predictable but it's done well and it was enjoyed by everyone in our house. Both of us...

The original is very good.
