Wind River.

Stunning film.

A teenage Native American girl is found dead, barefoot and raped, high up on a frozen mountain in Wyoming.

The FBI send one inexperienced officer to investigate, as the death of Native Americans gets low priority.

Jeremy Renner acts as the tracker and body guard for the FBI agent, as they unravel the truth.

It’s a film that sounds dull, but is the total opposite.

Jeremy Renner gives the performance of a life time, supported by a very good cast.

Beautifully filmed, in a stunning location and the film builds the suspense right up to the end.

Can’t recommend this enough.

On Netflix ( not a Netflix film )

Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch teaming up.

The Endless.

Low budget head bender.

Two brothers who escaped from a cult as young boys receive a cryptic video tape, which makes them return to the cult out of curiosity.

Everything at the cult is most definitely not as things first seems.

Not too bad, but not one if you don’t like films That bend your head.

On Netflix

Yeah, I loved it tbh, but it's worth reading the explanation of it and giving it another go.

Maradona. Enjoyed all the old footage, but can’t help feeing they glossed over a fair bit and didn’t really expand on, or give any real context to what was happening behind the scenes.

Watched The Exorcist last night, still superb, though missed the first 15 minutes. First time I've had the courage to watch it since seeing it at the Woolton Cinema in my last year of school.
Still a great film, if I remember correctly, the second one, called the Heretic was absolute rubbish, but the third was excellent to, very scary.

On the plane a few weeks ago I saw "Destroyer," with Nicole Kidman. Good crime/detective flick. Really liked it--Kidman was quite good. I also saw something called "A man from UNCLE" or some such. Very cutesy Guy Ritchie nonsense that didn't hold my attention. I stopped watching it about half way through.
