I didn’t think it was as bad as some of the reviews and Sam Worthington is very good in the lead.

Traveling home with his family, his daughter has an accident and his wife and daughter disappear in the hospital.

Watches very much like a Stephen King film.

Never heard of this before, but I like Karl Urban and Paul Bettany. Vamps vs Vicars in a post apocalyptic wasteland. Absolute twaddle, although the fx actually hold up quite well. And Brad Douriff is in it, he's always good value.

They missed a trick with the name though, look at the poster, should've called it Father Dredd.

One of my favourite post apocalyptic films.
Maggie Q is stunning in it too.

I watched that many years ago....its starts of great, but only covers about 2/3 of the first book, and then jums. Its unfinished.

Raimi crazy !!...

....its actually really good, I was on the edge of the couch for about an hour of it.
Some gross bits, gratuitous bum shots, best Cgi crocks ever seen...
having to witness what I thought was the slow and painful death of the horror genre, with your Sommars, Conjuring, Hereditary, and other such pap, it's great to see Raimi having a belated return stab at it...and injecting a little humour in the process...horror has missed you Sam !!
Not going to win any awards but it's a fun ride.

Crap title for a very good film - Shot Caller.

An LA stock broker goes to jail for killing his mate in a drink drive accident. He is forced to join the white supremacist gang within the jail for his own safety.

He develops a taste for violence and rises to become one of the top boys both inside and out.

It’s much more than a prison film, great cast and well written. ( brutal in parts )
