Used to love the comics as a kid. There's loads of animated Asterix films isn't there?
I think there is the odd non-animated attempt as well. Not all as good as each other by many accounts...

Brutal that film, as in the conditions. I was put onto it after watching Cool Hand Luke, looking for more prison films, but I found this too depressing!!Just caught Brubaker, i remember my dad showing me this in my early teens, the faith in humanity against commonly held social concepts always stuck with me. Well done robert redford for getting it made
Is anyone even bothering to see Gemini man?
Looks dreafful from the trailers...
If you liked the 1st then you will enjoy itGoing to see Zombieland 2 on Sunday.
Love itView attachment 68987
Likely to be a bit confusing if you aren't aware of the Asterix stories but very entertaining for existing fans. The animation is really good. The Romans do not stand a chance...

Really enjoyed Lawless, I like the Tom hardy fella he is great in Peaky blinders as well. There is another Hardy film called Child 44 it's a good watch.2 watched this week
Lawless, with Tom Hardy and Gary Oldman,a film about 3 brothers bootlegging during prohibition, was ok,watchable but nothing that stood out considering it had a really good cast
Suburbicon, a film where the plot stood out a mile from the opening scenes, you knew what the story was, just about viewable certainly not one to re watch
