Europa Report : Film 4 last night

Fictional, part fly on the wall, part doc about a manned space mission to look for life on one of Jupiter’s moons - the planet Europa.

Strange film, as some of it was really good and really had you on the edge of your seat, yet some of it was a bit dull. Good cast, good effects and well acted though.

You’d have to watch it to make your own mind up.

Finally caught up with this yesterday. It's about a group of child soldiers in Colombia, who live on a remote mountain where they guard their American hostage. It's a very solid and gripping film, although not quite as great as many are making it out to be. The sound design & music are both very impressive. There are obvious comparisons to Lord of the Flies, and it's an unsettling film that is definitely worth a look.

Terminator Dark Fate, soulless rubbish. No atmosphere or tension like the first two, bland action and music. Typical Hollywood production line film. The de ageing for Sarah Connor in the opening was well done tho, good technology.

Not often you say this about a Netflix film, but this excellent.

Henry V and the Battle of Agincourt.

Timothee Chalamet a relatively unknown American actor, who plays the young Henry V is standout and is surely a future star. Cracking supporting cast too.

Won’t be for everyone as there’s a lot of politics involved too.

Would’ve happily gone to the cinema to see this.

Recommended if you like well made historical films.

Cautiously optimistic about this after he nailed Blade Runner, cast looks impressive. Won't have the Toto soundtrack or Sting in his undies though.

Yeah, I quite liked that if I remember correctly. Good soundtrack.

Yep, very good soundtrack.

As strange as it sounds, it could’ve done with being 30 mins longer, as even though they really racked the tension right up, I don’t think they did justice to the final scenes.

The ending was very good though and thoughtfully put together.

I reckon it’s one of those films that you’d enjoy a lot more second time around.

I wouldn't say it was a complete waste of my time watching this. Pretty much the usual story of innocent folk getting roped into dodgy dealings with organised crime. Lets hope truth and justice win out. Again...
