I agree 100% Could you imagine some dope doing a Shawshank Remake haha!Yep brilliant film but as I said not one to remake, it's a bit like doing a remake of the Shawshank Redemption, just don't do it.

Monos
Wow. Beautiful.
I am going to see that one this weekend, heard great things.
Watched Muppets Christmas Carol, still one of the best festive films imo
Sometimes you don't need to tell a 'story'. There are plenty of great films out there where nothing really happens story-wise - just a bunch of entertaining events/dialogue.I didnt really like it myself.
I felt like it barely told a story.

Did you see it in a cinema? The sound design & score are both incredible.
With Monos being a prime example - after seeing it, I wrote that it "appears to have been primarily designed as a sensory experience; admittedly, there's not much of a plot here, but that's not too much of a hindrance in a work which requires you to do little more than buckle up before it takes you on its nightmarish, hallucinatory journey".
While - as with so many films - it's probably best seen on the big screen, you'll probably be OK, especially if you have a decent setup. In any case, dimming the lights and cranking up the sound should see you right...I wanted to watch this but I worry my judgement of it being seen on a TV won’t do it justice.
