Last Film You Watched

I listened to an interview with them and they seem to love Sandler.

This was the second script they had ever written, they approached Sandler years ago and he said no. They left it for a few years, then Sandler saw Good Time at Cannes then found the Brothers at the festival and said he wants to work with them.

Interestingly, they went for Kobe Bryant and were very close to getting him but the schedules didn't fit.
I don't like any Adam Sandler films but I thought he was brilliant in this and it was an excellent film. Though I know a few people who turned it off because it made them anxious

The Lighthouse.

I don't know what to think with this one. One one hand its a great tale, creepy, bizarre, well made, great performances, cinematography, interesting imagery and design. On the other hand its a little boring, slow, the kind of film where someone standing around smoking is supposed to be a deep and meaningful insight into their character. I couldn't help wondering why they filmed it 4:3 and that distracted me. Look, it's well worth a watch to make up your own mind.. I just don't think I'd watch it again. Or maybe I would. Just have to think about it some more..

I loved it personally and I haven’t seen it at the cinemas yet.
