Just watched " The mauriteanian " true story but my word I wish it wasn't .There are many who should hang their heads in shame at this .
Just don't let me hear this shoit about the US being the best ever again.

I thought it was brilliant, but horrible at the same time!

I like Florence Pugh so after a while i was just focused on her acting and thinking how good she was.

Highly underrated imo.

The film for me was pretty shocking (the first freaky scene) but then quite obvious.

Probably 30 people walked out at different times...

Had the lazyboi type recliners so just enjoyed relaxing lol

Not typically a fan of these films and I haven’t seen it but what’s Chris Rock like in it? Doesn’t seem his sort of film at all, is it serious or typically Chris Rock?

Excellent film, watched it a couple of months ago and was very impressed with it

I don't think it tried to hide what was going to happen in the way The Wicker Man did. It'd have been pretty pointless. Just escalating dread and madness.

I suppose people walking out could have been seen as a credit to the makers if they were freaked out by it because there's nothing there that's poorly done or pointlessly shocking / obscene for the sake of it.

Weirdly, the exact same reaction happened at the end of Hereditary too - Must be an Ari Aster thing

....watching Lion (again) on Prime. Amazing true story of a little Indian kid who gets lost on a train.

Everytime I watch that it's get incredibly dusty in the room
