Just watched "The Platform" a Spanish psychological-horror film. Loads of fun, with a good mix of non-gratuitious violence (but yes, lots of violence--it's just not a hack-em-up film), good screenplay, and good acting. I quite liked it.

A little bit too smug and self knowing - but an interesting idea. Audrey Plaza whilst not being the most attractive lady ever (although she's clearly lovely), may well be the sexiest

i'm a bit weird at the best of times...but the reason is only practical: i pick-up such shelves cheap locally rather than order new, so some are oak, black, white etc.
incidentally also buy dvd's used. here in germany via wholesalers supercheap, most between €1-2 each. much prefer having a physical perma-collection than these online-stream subscriptions.

Watched a very good horror film last night from Argentina called 'Terrified'. Dark & foreboding right from the off with lots of jump scares that you don't see coming. The creepy tension never lets up so you never get the chance to relax for the whole 90 minutes. Well worth a watch if you like your horror movies & don't mind subtitles.
