Last Film You Watched

I am watching "Black Summer" (a series) on Netflix, which is a pretty decent Zombie stuff. Shows the chaos on the ground from when the break-out first occurred--not so much about the zombies, but about the crazy human panic/fear/terror/awfulness (at least the first two episodes do, not sure where it is going). Decent, but yeah, a done-to-death genre.

Gets better and darker, IMO, as it progresses (though i'm only on episode 5 or so).

Watched In The Earth before, at the start there was a warning about the sound and images and how they might affect you, which I just thought was a tag line. However the film has a lot of electronic noise and flashing images, it's very nauseating. I felt like Harry Parlmer being brainwashed in the Ipcress File, it's very intense, dont see it if your epileptic.
Its a beautifully shot film, and well acted, sadly though I didn't think the story was well wrote, far too rushed.

It's definitely disconcerting - but left me a bit cold

BTW since the cinema is still the best.place to watch films, The Odean Limitless iticket s only £9.99 a month until September, and it's not a 12 month contract so you can just get it for a month if you like.
Bargain, how the cinema makes on this I've never understood, unless it's to sell food and drink?

Yep, the food is where the money is.

A good mate of mine used to work at hq of one of the cinema chains. I'll ask her what it was but she said a ridiculously his percentage came from snacks.

Quiet Place 2.

Cracking film, better han the first, with some stand our performances - the young girl.

A rather abrupt ending, which strongly suggests another one.

It was great to be back in the cinema.
Which cinema did you go to? My wife took the two youngest to Cineworld and said it was very quiet - good for them, but not so good for the industry.
