Watched Fatherhood with Kevin Hart last night. Enjoyed it surprisingly, I like Kevin Hart so it was nice to see him do a bit of acting. Some very schmaltzy moments which was to be expected given the subject matter, but I thought it was funny and affecting at times

Thought the second was outstanding and giving the young girl the lead over Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt was a very brave decision, which worked brilliantly.

Much better than the first.

Yeah part 2s and sequel in general I'm weary of but this one was totally worth it.
In fact twice I went to see it and it was sold out.

The Signal (2014)

Could have been decent if it didn't have a crisis of identity at several points. At one point its Cloverfield, then its X Men, then its Truman Show. It loses itself in the sauce, but come the credits, I found I enjoyed it a bit.

a Netflix make and it actually isn't too bad, shades of Scream, Halloween, Friday the 13th type, a trilogy over the next 3 weeks, hopefully the next two will be of the same quality

Have you watched any of these - Rurouni Kenshin ? ( Netflix )

Four of them in the series. The anime weirdos will recognise them from the manga comics they’re taken from.

Set it in the late 1800’s, as the age of the Samurai was coming to an end in Japan, quickly followed by drugs, corruption etc.

Not bad, full on martial arts, quite theatrical, but sadly not many hats.

No I haven't actually, I'm just going to watch season 8 of AHS, I will give it a watch after that, I had seen a bit of the anime comics and it put me off because that lot usually involve school girl knickers,octopus porn and sexualized cat freaks,as bad as the WWE pervs

Watched First Man yesterday.

Saw it in the cinema and loved it, was pleased it was also very watchable on the TV.

It's actually ridiculous that they managed to get heap of crap to the moon and back several times. You see sturdier vehicles on Robot Wars.

Great musical score, well cast (Claire Foy is really good as Mrs. Armstrong) and covers the triumphant moon landing without any 'YeeeHaaaaw'Merica' nonsense that is often overdone.

7.5, maybe a bit more.
