How I Became a Hero - French ( subs )

Set in present day Paris. People with super powers happily co exist with the general population. However drug dealers have worked out how to synthesise drugs to mimic the effects of the super powers, with devastating results. A maverick detective is on the case.

A bit of a mess really, as it can’t work out whether it wants to be a detective film or a super hero film.

The Ice Road. Just as I was saying to my bird that it is good to see Liam Neeson not playing his character from Taken for the first time he is hanging from the side of a speeding truck. Decent film though the ice road scenes are immense

Even though Scarlett does amazingly as always (Widow's easily in my top 5 marvel characters ever), this movie was a letdown. Worst part was the horrible Russian accents and Florence Pugh's exclusively unfunny one liners.

The Tomorrow War on Amazon Prime.

Big budget sci-fi. Just about watchable, but 30 - 40 minutes too long, and misplaced jokes and comedic characters that leaves the tone a bit mixed.

That's weird, Me and the wife were just trying to watch that. We managed 30-40 minutes in before we started cooking to UB40. Will have to check the ending out now.... With such a glowing review... Haha. (I couldn't find the emoj thingy).

Thought tomorrow war was pretty good...hopefully a 2nd part to it.

Some of the things that happened could have been resolved without wasting so much time though.

Yeah, I didn’t mind it to be fair. Just no need for it to be 2 hr 20 mins. Could have done it in 90 mins and lost nothing.
