I'll give it a look anyway just to keep up with the series, though there hasn't been any official mentions of a 3rd series

I might watch The Rage in Pig later, apparently it's supposed to be decentIt`s poor, terrible acting and CGI and a non existent plot.
Could`ve done with a cameo from Saint Nic to rescue it.
Watched that last night. Very grim. Not sure why Time Out described it as 'breathtakingly beautiful'.View attachment 102799
The IRA dirty protest to be classed as political prisoners and Bobby Sands subsequent hunger strike,a grim film but worth a watch whatever your political/religious beliefs are

The casting of Burt Reynolds was so perfect.Rewatched "Boogie Nights" for the 80th time, but hadn't seen it in like 10 years. It still remains one of my favorite movies.
Philip Seymour Hoffman is brilliant in that film. Actually got to briefly meet him (at Shea Stadium for a Mets game) in the subsequent years when he was performing on Broadway.Rewatched "Boogie Nights" for the 80th time, but hadn't seen it in like 10 years. Yup. I also heard an interview with either Mark Wahlberg or Paul Thomas Anderson (forget which one it was) in which they insinuated that Burt was a major PITA during filmingI think I saw somewhere that Burt did not want to do the film but the director wanted him so much he fought to convince him until eventually he changed his mind.

Had his personal demons but seemed a very, very kind soul

I can understand that but he’s so, so good in it. Supposedly, that’s why DiCaprio turned it downYeah, despite his fairly macho/male persona, he was apparently disgusted by the thematic content of that movie. But he was certainly a professional in that it didn't show in his character.
