Body of Lies on Netflix. Di Caprio taking on the terrorists, it is decent, worth a watch.

Watched The Guilty, decent enough, felt a bit low budget and Netflixy and could guess the twist a mile off but it kept me entertained.

Watched this for the 4th time as well, still one of my favourite moves of the past 10 or so years

Saw the new Bond film (in one of the 6 screens it was on at my 8-screen local)... thought it was fairly similar to most of the other Daniel Craig ones, although I really liked the last stretch of it, which I thought they really nailed. Freddy Mercury was quite good as the villain - while Bond baddies are generally pantomime stuff, he underplays it quite nicely (unlike, say, Javier Bardem when he had a stab at it). Lea Seydoux was very good in it, and it's a pity Ana de Armas wasn't given more to do. Didn't think the new 007 character worked at all, to be honest.

Great political film with a superb cast list, and features Gary Oldman in one of his best roles imo.

Watched Whiplash tonight . Decent film about a young lad wanting to be a legendary drummer . Not too bad tbf 7/10

Watched Rise of The Foot Soldier Origins …. Meh

Must admit I thought this was quite good fun - wasn't expecting much from the 5th in a ropey series of films, but it was much better than I thought it was going to be. I quite like how the last three films have bought into the sheer ridiculousness of it all and just gone with it, because the first two took themselves quite seriously as they tried to cover the Rettendon murders. There are some terrible wigs in it, and it's absurd how the actors are now much older but are playing younger versions of the characters they played in the first one.

The Harder They Fall. Pretty much what you'd imagine a Jay-Z-produced western starring Idris Elba to look like. Well made, fairly entertaining, very flashy, and it has a decent soundtrack. Zazie Beetz and Lakeith Stanfield are both good in it, but 130 minutes is really pushing it for this sort of thing. Will be on Netflix next month.

It's no cinematic masterpiece for sure, but I've always enjoyed watching critters rolling around eating people. 4/10

Ana De Armas, she's userped Adriana Lima as my creepy, follow her anywhere, South American totty.
Always loved Bond movies, raised on them.

It was a very good ending to one of my favourite Bond's, just left thinking "what next"?

Never knew that until you just mentioned it.

Honestly I don't mind Affleck, he co-wrote one of my all time favourite movies "Good Will Hunting".

Superb wordsmanship in that flick... Obviously helped by Robin Williams ad-libbing.
