Double Denim Chuck Norris defends the entire country against a terrorist invasion intent on using the American way to destroy the American way...or something.

It may be violent, distasteful, scatterbrained, machismo borderline xenophobic nonsense but it's that Canon Films brand of dated nonsense which I can't help but enjoy. Full of great practical effects and a lot more stunt performers than actors in the entire thing.

Blimey thats a blast from the past, recall enjoying that back in the days of VHS…. Is it on any of the streaming services?

Halloween Kills

Some entertainingly brutal kills - but unfortunately it just isn't particularly scary (The curse of 'Blumhouse' strikes again)

Also - making Michael Myers basically indestructible removes all tension. I understand the appeal of unlimited sequels for a studio, but it just doesn't work for most horror films - They really need to be 'one and done'

Rather than wasting money on it I heartily recommend spending your time watching a genuinely scary recent horror film like 'Relic' or 'Caveat'

The documentary on Netflix is great as well, and you’ll realise just how much Ruffalo nails it.

Absolutely superb still.

Saw the Fish in one of the marvel flicks the other day and thought 'ooh.. ain't done EH in for a while.'

Still holds up, pretty much 25 years old and its just a cracking watch - the key is a really strong cast, taking daft material seriously and throwing themselves into it. Prime Fish and Sam mutha'kin Neill rocks his mutha'kin hardest.

Boss film.

Not on streaming as far as I know. There was a deal on BluRays by 88Films and the remastered disc of "Invasion USA" was in there. I picked it up with "2019: After The Fall Of New York". An Italian made ripoff of Escape From New York from around the early-mid eighties.

Absolute rubbish, trying to be the next scream but fails. Rubbish acting, rubbish storyline. The killings were below par, not scary at all. Not even sure why I watched the full film.
