Last Film You Watched

Thanks for that mate, was thinking of watching it and you’ve just sold me on it. I was a little unsure, didn’t want to watch it and it turn out as bad as the last. Does Paul Rudd play a big part in it?
No problem . Yeh he does , pretty funny to be honest . Its just like the original in regards to humour . Has loads of the orginal sound tracks in there also . I don't want to spoil it for you mate , but im sure you will approve . Let us know what you think after you watch it ?

Will do mate, it’s funny you say that about the soundtrack. I put the first couple of minutes on the other day to see what the copy of it was like and even the intro music I was like boom. Back in Sigourney Weavers bedroom

Have you been waiting for a stream on the fire stick ? If so , there's an awesome copy on there now ! Found it last night ?
Yes mate, it came on 2/3 days ago but I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet. I just tested it out yesterday to see what it was like cos there’s actually 2 copies of it come on it. A normal one and a 1080p one. Which I don’t think makes a difference as it’s being streamed anyway. I’m surprised the Eternals hasn’t come on it yet

Watched Ridley Scott's 1989 "Black Rain" for the first time in yeeeeears last night.

A culture-clash cop thriller with Michael Douglas and Andy Garcia chasing a rogue Yakuza mobster from NYC to Osaka in an attempt to bust a transatlantic money counterfeiting ring.

Standard glossy Scott visuals, typically 80's cop tropes and a super Hans Zimmer soundtrack. Forgot how violent it was, some nasty moments for sure.

It's definitely worth checking out - type of picture that Hollywood doesn't seem to bother with as much these days.

Licorice Pizza is just phenomenal. Favourite PT Anderson film since Punch-Drunk Love - Alana Haim has got a massive future in Hollywood if she decides to go down that path, she's incredible.

The Wailing(2016). One of the best horror/thriller flicks to come out of South Korea imho.

Took me 2-3 attempts to actually sit through and watch it all. Found the acting really really bizarre, was almost like faux-comedic in parts (althought I think that's just the Korean way, seems to be prominent in quite a few thrillers/horrors) which didn't really fit the atmosphere for me not to mention it's incredibly slow too.

Glad I stuck with it though because it's really terrifying in parts. Great film.

Good film in its day. Did it stand the test of time?

Yeah he’s probably the reason I’ve never watched it… not really a fan of his acting.. same character in every film he plays… saying that.. I’m stuck in my room so will probably watch the second one later ?

He’s good in the remake of Death Race too.

I like him, you know exactly what you’re getting, plus he never takes himself seriously either.
