Last Film You Watched

Watched The Dark Knight for the first time in donkeys. Honestly not as good as I remember it to be. I certainly wouldn't call it the best comic book movie. To be honest I wouldn't now call it the best of the Nolan Batman's. Other than Ledger, I thought it had nothing going for it at all. Well disappointed. Loved it when it came out. But now. Meh.

What comic book movie is better? Watchmen maybe? I really enjoyed the remade justice league. Most comic book stuff I find to be very average.

Winter soldier and infinity war are way better, in my opinion. I would also say Batman begins is a lot better than TDK. Honestly watch it again. The first half is jumpy and seems like it is rushed. The scenes just look like scenes with no flow. Just jumping from one thing to another.
I think I would agree with the Snyder cut Justice League being better as well.

I watched TDK in the past year again. It’s still for me the best movie of this genre.

Anyone that shoves the Snyder Cut above TDK shouldn’t be given an opinion I’m afraid.

There's a whole mid section in TDK that, if you think about it for even a second, makes absolutely no sense at all. Not to dwell on it too much, but the Joker's plan about kidnapping the two girls, getting arrested by Commissioner Gordon who he thought was dead, timing another guy to get arrested and blowing up the police station etc. Etc.

It's a series of some impressive setpieces glued tentatively together by a fantastic performance from Ledger, but the film itself is a plothole riddled mess that exemplifies everything that generally goes wrong in a Nolan film. Impossibly convoluted plans, badly written women characters and plot devices that are shoehorned in to justify whatever scene the Nolan brothers dreamed up over a pint

It's still decent, but Begins is a far superior film imo, because it is a fair bit less Nolan-y

Not a film, but the first series of the Punisher is one the best comic book adaptations ever done ( imo )

Yeah, as was the first season of Daredevil. For me, film-wise, Batman Begins is the best superhero film ever made. A few honourable mentions to Watchmen, V for Vendetta (which I think is v underrated), Iron Man and the first Avengers film
