Last Film You Watched

Tonight I watched my favourite ever film again. Survive Style 5+

I was looking for the trailer to show someone and the whole film is now on Youtube with English subs so I just sat and watched it again.

Highly recommended for anybody with 2 hours to spare. It's kind of like a Japanese Pulp Fiction (as in a bunch of interlinking stories) but its wonderfully weird and has a fantastic soundtrack.

Or don't watch it. See if I care.

Spielberg's West Side Story. OK, the plot, (remake of 6o's B&W classic based on Romeo and Juliet), is not immensely real, but the music, the chorography, the singing, the sets, the whole damn vibe of the thing are magnificent. Go if you get a chance.

Watched The Dark Knight for the first time in donkeys. Honestly not as good as I remember it to be. I certainly wouldn't call it the best comic book movie. To be honest I wouldn't now call it the best of the Nolan Batman's. Other than Ledger, I thought it had nothing going for it at all. Well disappointed. Loved it when it came out. But now. Meh.
The first 20 mins of TDK is some of the best storytelling in modern cinema nevermind Comic Book movies.

I liked this, i only went because it was Spielberg if im honest, interesting a couple of people i know who work in the dance and theatre world were a bit underwhelmed by it, which is interesting, but as someone who dosent do musicals i enjoyed it too
