Watched the new Spiderman film

Wished i hadnt. By far the worst in the Tom Holland series of films.

The 1st 2 were great...for me this one fell flat.

It was part adaption of the ‘One More Day’ storyline from the comics with Strange in place of Mephisto, one of the more controversial Spidey stories but I felt they did a great job with it and provided closures for both previous actors who’s respective film series bit the dust

Fair enough, i havent read the comics. Wasnt much of a comic book fan as a kid, not a spiderman fan...didnt like Tobey Maguire...

Quite liked Garfield as Spiderman and Tom Holland steals every scene and have enjoyed the last few.

But this one wasnt for me.

Watched Looper through the week. I must have started it about 3/4 times before and never got more than 10 minutes past the bit Bruce Willis appears. Really enjoyed it

Somehow missed this over the years. Straightforward and from the first 10 minutes and a look at the poster you could write it yourself, but not bad at all actually.

Just seen The Duke, its brilliant, nothing too serious, it's about the theft of a painting in London, true stroy, its not so much a comedy but it is funny, well worth seeing if you either like true stories, films set in the 60s or films with old people.

Dammit, Denzel knocks it out of the park yet again. This could have done with 15 minutes or so left on the cutting room floor, but it’s a great movie.

Need to watch this. The BBC did a brilliant podcast on this subject which I highly recommend.

One of my favourite films that, thought Ken Watanabe & Hiroyuki Sanada we’re great in it.

Saw The Batman at a press screening a few days ago. It was quite good but I was disappointed overall. Some good performances but thought the story wasn’t great and it is so dark. Really beats you down over the near 3 hour runtime. Think they can do well out of this version of the universe if it carries on but not a great start in my opinion.

I already know I'm going to give it 10/10 on Thursday but I am so bias towards Batman films.

I already know I'm going to give it 10/10 on Thursday but I am so bias towards Batman films.

Interested to know what you think of it. I didn’t think it’s bad, would probably give it a 7. Maybe I hyped it up too much
