The Equalizer.

Not a bad film, but I’ve been on a bit of a Denzel Washington binge recently and this was the worst one so far. I’m generally not a fan of violence for the sake of violence.

It's more brain off enjoy the badass fighting sort of film. Like John Wick.

Yeah I'm probably being a bit unfair. It wasn't quite what I expected, but that's on me. I'm trying this thing where I don't even read the synopsis of a film as I like discovering the story/plot for myself. Film trailers often give away too much in my opinion.

Just watched Dune (new one) and really enjoyed it, hopefully not too long to wait for part 2.
Never managed to watch the original all the way through but might give it another go now….

Enjoyed The Batman, tone and atmosphere reminded me of Seven, some gorgeous cinematography.

I enjoyed the cinematography and the sound track, however I can't decide if I bought into the movie enough. It felt as if it was trying to be edgy.

Man On Fire (2004)

Another solid performance from the Denz, although I felt his character was never really in mortal danger. That aside, the star of this movie is really Dakota Fanning.
