Last Film You Watched

Watched Belfast on Sunday and was very disappointed

Basically about Kenneth Branoughs early life in Belfast but he didn't really have a story to tell.
Summed up his family lived in Belfast but emigrated to England in 1969 before the brown stuff really hit the fan

I was very underwhelmed too, drab Van Morrison music didn't help

Actually really enjoyed it. Reminded of films I watched as a kid, back in the day.
Liked the little references to avengers with the dad being the father of time travel, and star trek, linguistics teacher.
Thought it was daft, but an enjoyable 90 minutes.

Technically it is the about the Hulk and Electra’s kid, Deadpool

The Bombardment on Netflix.

Danish film about the RAF mistakenly bombing a school instead of Gestapo Headquarters in Copenhagen a few weeks before the end of the war in Europe.

As one would expect, quite a sombre affair.

The Suicide Squad (2021)

Only watched this because it's somewhat required before watching this 'Peacemaker' series everyone is talking about. Thought it was decent, though the comedy bits (especially when it involved Harley Quinn) fell flat on it's face. 6/10

Went the pictures to see The Batman this week.

Unfortunately I chose to have a couple of pints at the pub opposite beforehand.

Was enjoying it for the first hour and after that I was less interested in Batman Vs Riddler and more preoccupied with the battle between bladder and trousers.

The film is 3 hours long and threatens to end several times only for your hopes to evaporate like urine droplets on upholstery.

I was going to just run to the bathroom but a girl next to me did that and tripped over a bag and made a very conspicuous scene and I didn't want to risk tripping up and my bladder inevitably prolapsing.

Anyway it was pretty good.
No chance of me & my enlarged prostate sitting for 3 hours watching a film without a break. I'm going to have to wait until it comes on Sky & make sure the pause button is in good working order.

Peacemaker has much of that same bad comedy stuff in it. Dunno why these kind of things always do that. Still ok though.
