Last Film You Watched

Well, if you like Gene Hackman - have you seen Mississippi Burning? Its absolutely brilliant!

It’s been a while but maybe I should watch again. Great film.
Actually, the last thing I saw Gene Hackman in was at the Marine Corps Museum of all places. He was in the Corps in his younger days and narrated the museum’s content.
Big fan of his comedic roles as well

Well, you have started with two outstanding films there tbf.

Prey is awesome, not as good as your first two, but well worth a watch.

How about The Untouchables, Unforgiven, Goodfellas, Alien, Joker - some excellent films there of different genres.

If you like war films, The 12th Man is OUTSTANDING!

Star Trek: Wrath of Khan

Its been only forty years since this film originally got released, its still the best film of the entire franchise. While it was always way better as a show then films this one still packs a hell of a punch. People rag of Shatners over acting at times but he's absolutely perfect in this. The key scene between him and Nimoy is just brilliant. Fantastic stuff but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who isn't already a fan of or is invested in the franchise

Just watched it.

It`s superb and never ever, did I think they`d take it in this direction. They`ve well and truly breathed new life into it.

The young girl in the lead is a star in the making.

Two complaints from me :

It should`ve been on the cinema, as it`s just too good and the wonderful cinematography and setting is wasted by streaming it.

It`s too short, could`ve done with another twenty minutes, to take it to the two hour mark.

Lacks the black humour and the personalities of the first, but a really good 9/10 from me.

Same here mate... Awesome addition to the Predator franchise.

It was the same director that made 10 Cloverfield Lane, so I had big expectations for it and he didn't disappoint.

I'll add one more complaint as well... They apparently did a version that was dubbed in Comanche, I would have loved it if they did the whole film in Comanche with English subtitles, Apocalypto style, but that's just me nit picking.
