Last Film You Watched

Just done all the bonds over a two week period courtesy of Amazon. (I hadn't seen 'No Time To Die' so took the opportunity to hammer them all)

The Daniel Craig films are by far the best ones when taken as a group with a connected storyline.

The Sean Connery films are generally pretty crap (Yep, even Goldfinger) but he definitely played it cool.

George Lazenby? Also pretty good as Bond and I wouldn't have minded another outing from him but it wasn't to be.

The Roger Moore ones are Austin Powers with a bit more shooting.

The first Timothy Dalton one was OK, the 2nd was garbage.

Pierce Brosnan played the role with more Connery than Moore, and pulled it off quite well, they just didn't give him the best stories. (but clearly the best ladies, quite a prolific line up)

That brings us back to the Craig films. They definitely took note of the Jason Bourne films and dropped the daft jokes. Those last 5 films are probably the only set I'd bother watching again.

Oh, has there ever been a more useless 'baddie' in cinema than Jaws? He's literally just a lumbering oaf. Bloody useless.
I've watched them all now too. Loved all the Sean Connery ones except Diamonds which was just silly but my fave Bond theme.
Hate Lazeby's film, terrible wooden actor and thought the film. Was boring
Roger Moore ones like you say just one step away from Austin Powers
Dalton my fave Bond , probably played it more like the book character than any although not keen on The Living Daylights and loved
Licensed to Kill
Goldeneye was easily Brosnans best film but the last one Die Another Day was awful
Craig my second fave Bond and Casino Royale my fave Bond film, loved Quantum too, Skyfall ok but Spectre rubbish along with the latest one

Ignore the reviews, this is one of the all time great revenge films and one of the most brutal.

A gang of rednecks car jack a seemingly wealthy young couple, out in the sticks.

The young couple are in fact experienced serial killers and the rednecks have just made a very big mistake.

Luke Evans is standout, as the male serial killer.

Film4 tonight, at 11.35 - worth staying up for.
Recorded this on your recommendation and just watched it.
I'm lost for words.

Galaxy of Terror (1981) - on Prime

My kind of movie. A lot better than expected as well. Some great kills
especially the one with the big worm lol
and awesome set design. Also a nice surprise to see Sid Haig and Robert Englund being a part of this. 7/10

The Stranger.

An easy one to overlook this, as you think it’s ” just another Netflix film “, when it’s actually made by Film Australia and been bought by Netflix.

It’s a magnificent film and I’d have happily gone to the cinema to see this.

Based on a true story. The Australian police, launch a massive sting undercover operation, to try and gather evidence, against a paedophile, who is believed to have abducted and murdered a young boy, twelve years previous.

Joel Edgerton puts in the performance of a lifetime, as the lead undercover policeman and Sean Harris, is a whisker behind, as the paedophile.

Crime noir at its best - superb film.

You know it's a good film when you're uncomfortable from start to finish.
