The Stranger.

An easy one to overlook this, as you think it’s ” just another Netflix film “, when it’s actually made by Film Australia and been bought by Netflix.

It’s a magnificent film and I’d have happily gone to the cinema to see this.

Based on a true story. The Australian police, launch a massive sting undercover operation, to try and gather evidence, against a paedophile, who is believed to have abducted and murdered a young boy, twelve years previous.

Joel Edgerton puts in the performance of a lifetime, as the lead undercover policeman and Sean Harris, is a whisker behind, as the paedophile.

Crime noir at its best - superb film.

Just watched this two nights ago. Really terrific. The whole film has a very dark feel to it, and of course the plot itself it very dark. Some great acting. I agree with all that is written above.

It`s 100% one of my films of the year.

It deserved a cinema release.

Yeah, I agree. I didn't realize it was a Netflix release when I watched it. I'm still thinking about this film...it has some haunting staying power.

Bedeviled could be one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen Troll II, Dead Body Man, and Aquanoids.

Yeah, I agree. I didn't realize it was a Netflix release when I watched it. I'm still thinking about this film...it has some haunting staying power.

It was just relentlessly seedy and it made you feel grubby watching it.

It can`t have been easy playing the two lead roles.

Black Adam (2022)

You got a bunch o B-list s'heroes running around doing s'hero zhit while loads of silly humans get in their way, with The Great One carrying the watchability of this movie on his considerable deltoids.

A generous 5/10.

I watched 'A Vigilante' the other day based on (I think) @COYBL25 's recommendation. Was well worth a watch. Something about it has been bugging me though...

How did she manage to overpower her husband at the end? When they were in the cabin he well had the upper hand, she escapes to that building, they have a face off and then all of a sudden she's on top of him and has him in some sort of death grip.

Barbarian available for streaming now, watch it. Saw smile, not bad, couple of good jump scares 6.2.

Fall (2022), horrible script but some of the scenes on the tower gave me huge anxiety, worth a watch 5.7
