Last Film You Watched

My latest visit to the cinema killing time with 10yr old grandson was Black Panther Wakanda Forever.
The latest of Marvel series that I've been taken to see was the least enjoyable of them. Two hours 43 minutes far toolong.
Best bit was at the end when the credits rolled and Rhianna sung that song dedicate to Chadwick Boseman

Put it off for yeaaaaars but finally giving 1998 cult sci-fi thriller "Dark City" a go.... got a surprisingly good cast ...... 5 minutes in and I dunno what the hell is going on...looks interesting though, kind of a riff on Terry Gilliams "Brazil" and a definite influence on the green hued Matrix movies.

Recently watched, a Zombie horror flick from 1980, called Zombie Flesheaters, crackers, blood and gore, with hypnotic electro music throughout, weirdest part where a Zombie attacks a Shark...
The Godfather, again, still a great watch, hasn't aged at all for me. And the Bourne Identity cracking film in my view.
That Zombie vs Shark moment is brilliant. Is that the movie where the girl gets impaled through the eyeball by a shard of jagged wood splinters? Proper video nasty stuff that

Yeah that's the one, the Zombies actually walk slower than Father Ted's over 75's team !
Apparently it was a video nasty and banned for a quite a while. It was the electro music that drawn me in as well as the Shark bit.

Not watched it yet but after me mate sent me this trailer on Whatsapp I feel I should definitely make an effort to catch it.

it looks MEGA. Better than any snide Jason Statham action picture this.

Great (but a bit strange) flick! Rufus Sewell was great

And Melissa George's kit off!

Police Academy 3. Not as funny as I remember.
Enjoyed the original but found all the sequels a bit meh tbh, probably because my favourite Mossley Hill actress Kim Cattrall wasn't in them.

Must admit, I think a lot of those 80s American comedies haven't aged well. Still have a good naughty schoolboy giggle at Porkies though. Kim Cattrall again. :)

The original was great, but a lot more racist than I remember, and with a lot more nudity. Would have been great if I hadn't discovered that while showing it to my kids for the first time.

I really enjoyed it, though it did have the annoying part of “kid with a skateboard escapes from temporarily incompetent spec ops soldiers” in it. Overall though, well worth the watch
Yeah agree there were a few annoying parts, but overall a surprisingly good watch

Watched Street Kings with Keanu & Forrest Whittaker. Was ok, seem to recall it being better than this most recent viewing, but might be mistaking it for another similar film. iirc there were 3 or 4 dodgy LA cop type films came out around the same time, this, Training Day and a couple of others.
