Last Film You Watched

Enjoyed the original but found all the sequels a bit meh tbh, probably because my favourite Mossley Hill actress Kim Cattrall wasn't in them.

Must admit, I think a lot of those 80s American comedies haven't aged well. Still have a good naughty schoolboy giggle at Porkies though. Kim Cattrall again. :)
Stripes, gratuitous nudity aside, is still a great watch!

Watched Glass Onion earlier and it was a fun watch. Nowhere near as good as Knives Out though. I felt it was all a bit too on the nose in terms of the script and the characters. But the performances were really good

Ed Norton basically being Elon Musk, Batista being Rogan etc. Some of it just felt very forced.

As it's nearly December, we watched A Christmas Story Christmas. As a big fan of the original, I think this works really well; it's great that, nearly 40 years on from the first film, so many of the actors are back, including Peter Billingsley as Ralphie. The late Darren McGavin was great in the first film, so he's missed this time, although I think they've written around that in quite a clever way. The film basically ignores A Christmas Story 2, and plays as a direct sequel to the original, and there are plenty of nice references to the earlier film. If you like the first film, it's definitely worth giving this one a look.

Can't bring myself to watch anything but the original.
