Last Film You Watched

It's testament to some superb film making mate.
I don't need to tell you that.

Another in a similar vein, is The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.

I genuinely, thought that as it was a Disney film, it`d be sanitised.

I had to leave the house and go for a walk afterwards, as I was cut up that done in.

Possibly one David Thwelis finest performances.

Death Becomes Her - Good fun. Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn are obviously brilliant but it's easy to forget just how good a comedy actor Bruce Willis was in his pomp.

Deadfall - Not the mediocre 60's heist flick with Michael Caine but a mediocre 2012 crime thriller thing with Charlie Hunnam. Two siblings (Eric Bana / Olivia Wilde) attempt to cross the US Canada border after a heist and one thing and another has them bumping into Hunnam's boxer ex-con. A bit better than it sounds but not by much. Passable fodder good in parts.

FlightPlan - Jodie Foster's great, Peter Saarsgaard is odd and Sean Bean is posh Sean Bean. Plot holes you could fly the plane through but it's enjoyable and well put together nonsense.

Moneyball - Saw this before but flicking through the channels and decided to watch it for a couple of minutes while the ads were on another channel. Obviously ended up watching the entire thing again as it's just great. No interest in baseball but Pitt's performance and the supporting roles are all compelling.

The Royal Tenenbaums - Always been on the 'to do' list but never got round to it till last night. Superb.

The 6th Day - Not prime Arnie and littered with ropey late 90s CGI, edgy editing, horrific EDM soundtrack and rubbish future stuff gimmicks but reasonable fun. Major plus points being Michael Rooker featuring heavily as main henchman, plenty of action and Tony Goldwyn's hammy evil scientist.
