The CG ruins it, they should have kept it hand drawn like the first film

Yeah, defo style over substance. All the stories are resolved so quickly, it’s quite a bizarre little movie. Obvs one for the little’uns with no attention span.

Just watched Dead Presidents, mid 90s film, good film set in late 60s, in the Bronx, like three chapters, first was just around the Bronx, second was some of the main characters in Vietnam, third was post war back in the city.

Good film, Chris Tucker in it, his character was a lot like Beaumont Livingston in Jackie Brown.

There's a bank robbery in it, interesting thing is parts of the film are based on real events

I watched this last night... it wasn't bad, if just pretty much what I expected. Kind of on a par with Violent Night, although a good bit shorter which I think counts in its favour. I've liked the director's previous films (Bliss & VFW), and although I'd watch this one again, I don't think it'll become one of those I watch every Christmas.

Remember that when it first came out, the disguises / masks they use are quite memorable. Kirby is a good character in it iirc.
Might give it another whirl.
