Bone Tomahawk
Eerie, brutal and awesome. 8/10

It`s such a good film, as it effortlessly manages to be a Western and a truly horrific magnificent and inventive horror film at the same time.

The bizarre thing about it, is that for such a standout film, it got such a limited release on the cinema.

It would make a fantastic book too.

A film I can watch time and time again.

Das Cabinet Des Dr. Caligari (The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari)
When I heard someone call this the first horror film ever made, I had to check it out. As usual in this era of cinema, the visuals here are top notch (the bluray restoration looked great as well). Really atmospheric stuff. I guess we can only try to imagine how crazy this experience was 103 years ago. Also, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Tim Burton found a lot of inspiration in this one. 7/10

I'm not the biggest fan of Seth Rogen, but he was great in this in dual roles. Its sort of an Encino Man tale wherein an Eastern European immigrant in the early 20th century falls in a vat of pickles and emerges 100 years later in modern Brooklyn and ends up in a battle of wills with his own great grandson.
Its a daft premise obviously but this short, gentle and rather chucklesome yarn is charming and often poignant with some nicely played jabs at the absurdities of the 21st century.

On Prime but just for another week or so.

Babylon. Wolf of Wall Street meets Great Gatsby. Fully deserved every one of its severe ratings on IMDB and the 3 hours went very quickly. Brilliant jazz score underpinning the whole film and Margot Robbie was outstanding. Best new film I've seen in yonks and despite it being a flop I'm predicting cult status in 5/10 years time.

Not for everyone like.

Ive seen this today, its great, i think the length might put a few people off going the cinema to see it, also i dont think its been advertised well, I actually didnt even know Margot Robbie was in it, ive hardly seen it mentioned at all.
Really good film thou, the opening party is wild, Robbie is great as she seems to play loads of different acting roles, i mean her character has different roles and she nails them all, good film.

Been wanting to see this since first saw the trailer a few monts ago. That description looks just like what I thought it would be like. Defo want to go, but the times it's on near my are not great.
Taxi...

The opening credits still one of the best ever put on film.

Haha, love that film. Every time I see your avatar it looks like the drug dealer in "The Night Before" (great Xmas film btw).

I've been watching Love/Hate on 6movies.net and I noticed that it's already on there. I doubt you'll lose that much from the cinema effect apart from the music score so I'd recommend you play it as loud as possible. If you like 20s Jazz you'll love it. The score is even more magnificent than Margot Robbie lol

It inspired me to watch Wolf of Wall Street again to compare the two and Babylon is infinitely better in my opinion. Even though it only has roughly half of the profanities, the fact that over 80% of them come out of Margot's beautiful lips makes it all the more effective and shocking. Brilliantly zanny cameo from Tobey Maguire too that I forgot to mention earlier.

Watched ambulance on sky cinema.
Dumb as anything, lot of action, quite fun, but loads of plot holes. Much like this review it’s all over the place
