Pearl - I thought it was excellent.
Mia Goth is exceptional in that kind of role... And strangely hot.

Watched the new Luther film. Entertaining, with the usual absurdist uber-villains who have indiscriminate control over every aspect of government/technological control and unlimited funds to do so. This one seemed to take a page from Black Mirror as well.
drags a lot in the middle if I remember right. Is overrated due to some iconic scenesWatched Pulp Fiction again tonight. Is it that it hasn’t aged well or that it wasn’t all that to begin with? Kinda just wanted it to end.

Get bored in most Tarantino films tbh when he does those over indulgent, pointless monologue scenes.Big Samuel with some great acting but I was just a bit bored. Also insanely long. I have seen it a few times so maybe it’s just that but meh.
Probably that you've seen it really - first time I liked it a lot, second was a slog and the 3rd I barely watched honestly.Big Samuel with some great acting but I was just a bit bored. Also insanely long. I have seen it a few times so maybe it’s just that but meh.

Most Tarantino seems to be that way anyway tbh, as @JimmyJeffers said. I've experienced the same with Django and The Hateful Eight (~THREE HOURS WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU TARANTINO) - just gets a bit boring after you've seen it once.
Can't get myself through it, just drags on a bit. I have done it, great film(s), but every rewatch seems to make it that bit more annoying to finish lolOoft dunno, I can rewatch Hateful Eight a fair few times.

Didn’t mind ‘Once upon a time in Hollywood’ too much.
If forced to choose, I'd have to go pompous insect. You’re tuned in to Sunday Morning Film Chat on GOT. Today’s topic: Quentin Tarantino; Genius or pompous insect?
