So nothing like this:Just seen it this evening. Is it me or was the art style a bit weird at times? The turtles looked almost like 3D rendered models to me at some points

Just out from seeing Meg 2. Daft as arseholes but perfectly fine. The absolute kicking its getting I dunno what critics expect, its a giant shark film with Jason Statham in it ffs.
Watched Oppenheimer last night. Although it was long, I never once thought to myself it was dragging, each scene has you engrossed and engaged even though the film bounces around a bit. Fantastic again from Christopher Nolan.Oppenheimer was very good. Some incredible acting on show. Told a story not many people know too well these days and I certainly didnt expect so many other famous scientific names to come up. Really showcases how intertwined science and politics and war was around that time with the personal story of Oppenheimer himself adding a human element. Quite an intense 3 hours but well worth it imo.
Yeah defo, I'd say this ones probably not as good overall, but it really doesn't deserve the sniffy reviews its getting. Read one today where the critic nitpicked something and she just clearly hadn't been paying attention. I think they're just lining up to give it a hiding, maybe because of Wheatley being involved. Gave I a few chuckles, kept I entertained, all you want on a slightly hungover Saturday on a big massive screen.I really enjoyed the first one. It does exactly what it says on the tin.
great film that, possibly my all time favourite movie. Must have watched it at least a dozen times. This evening, I will be mostly watching....

Hackman "You just shot an unarmed man"
Eastwood "Well, he should have armed himself"
What a scene that wasgreat film that, possibly my all time favourite movie. Must have watched it at least a dozen times.
‘I've killed women and children. I've killed everything that walks or crawls at one time or another. And I'm here to kill you, Little Bill, for what you done to Ned’
‘All right, I'm coming out. Any man I see out there, I'm gonna shoot him. Any sumbitch takes a shot at me, I'm not only gonna kill him, but I'm gonna kill his wife, all his friends, and burn his damn house down.’
"all's I can tells you is who's gonna be last" - always get that thick dark humour with a Clint performance.great film that, possibly my all time favourite movie. Must have watched it at least a dozen times.

If you like Ethan Hawke, give 'Gattaca' a whirl...Training Day
This was the first DVD I ever owned, and I hadn't watched it in 15+ years until tonight. It's a sentimental one, sure, but also a brilliant film. Denzel is the man. 9/10
Just saw Oppenheimer and agree with you 100%.Watched Oppenheimer last night. Although it was long, I never once thought to myself it was dragging, each scene has you engrossed and engaged even though the film bounces around a bit. Fantastic again from Christopher Nolan.
Superb analogy! The Four Feathers opens up thoughts of Iwobi, Maupay and Keane.
Or perhaps Harsh Times...one of Christian Bale's underrated films.
