For me, my one critique is the casting of Lady Jessica

Do you mean not enough emphasis was made on her importance? Agreed if so, timid performance. Interesting to see if they go down the Lynch route with the child from the first one, certainly not in keeping with the book but then thats pretty hard to do!

Yes. She’s pivotal and supposed to have this dignified, noble presence. Not sure that completely came across in the film

New to Netflix- They Cloned Tyrone.

Ignore the favourable reviews, it’s complete and utter tosh.

It’s supposed to be a satire, but isn‘t funny in the slightest.

A criminal waste of some fine acting talent.

Fantastic film indeed. Even the long set-up before the "mission" started paid off I thought. The bridge crossing sequence was mindblowing!

I put "Men" on at the weekend. It started with real promise and had an atmosphere of that fabled Scottish island of Summerisle. The sense of a dark folktale building from the start was lost on me and I ended doing some work. The best thing about it, aside from a promising start was Love Song' by Lesley Duncan which I have on as I type.
