Maybe it's just me but I found Dune 2 a slog to get through

Fancied a horror film, so went to see this last night.

Instantly forgettable, but not as bad as the reviews are making out.

Loads of black humour and jump scares, but sadly lacking in horror.

It’s a film that teenagers will enjoy.

I like how it tries to entice you in by telling you at the top two other movies the director has done but not realising it has the opposite effect since they were both awful.

It’s better than those two films, but isn’t in the slightest bit scary, which is always going to be a problem for a horror film.

Beau is Afraid was brilliant and boring and baffling in different moments, I still think I liked it at least for the particularly bonkers first hour or so and Joaquin Phoenix is great

Just watched One Life……. My eyes got a bit of dust in them near the end…… who am I kidding ?? I blubbed like a baby …. What a remarkable individual Nicky Winton was

Watched this night on recommendation and also the near perfect reviews.

Some stellar performances from the leads and in particular Alexander Skarsgard, who is astounding in the lead, but boy oh boy is it brutal.

The attention to detail, meant it almost watched like a dramatised history lesson.

Recommend if you like Viking stuff.

I loved this film. Watched it on release and I swear it was getting panned a bit.

I think a lot of the reviews related to people going and expecting to see a swashbuckling sword and sorcery film, but got a brutal, almost historical portrayal of life as a Northman.

It won all kinds of awards and was critically acclaimed, it just seemed to the bucket of popcorn that didn`t like it.
