Saw the Deadpool/Wolverine movie a few weeks ago and thought it great entertainment and genuinly funny - almost too quick to keep up with. Also last week saw the 'Wild Robot' animation which is a bit like Iron Giant but definately well animated but a bit too long. Both were first movies I have seen in a cinema since pre-Covid so interesting. We found a bougie small place in Raleigh NC, but still dont think I could go back to a packed megatheater for a blockbuster. Just too many people.

Kept thinking of the saw films with the music score
Was a good film. I thought there would be more twists but it’s just a realistic portrayal of the spiral of drug addictions and loneliness and shows that addiction doesn’t discriminate what class you come from. I did think the woman was getting scammed by someone about appearing on tv and it would turn out to be her son scamming her or that the juice guy on tv would be her husband who died which is why she always watches that show. I also didn’t understand why the son didn’t go back to his mother’s place and sell the expensive tv he bought her when they were struggling for money.
