Please avoid them at all costs! I have had the misfortune of viewing a couple of Tyler Perry's 'Madea' movies, and they are not entertaining OR funny!

Both Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy have done the 'black guy in a fat black women's bodysuit' bit, and both have done it miles better.

I can't even give Tyler Perry points for effort. THAT'S how bad they are! 🤦‍♂️

I've always swerved the Madea movies. They seem like a rung or two below even Larry The Cable Guy's output.

They're all horribly rubbish, mate.

You think it's going to be 'Big Mamma's House', but then the storyline becomes more serious, and it turns into some teenage schoolgirl's idea of a relevant play. 🤦‍♂️

I don't know why they keep giving Tyler Perry money to make them, FFS.
 

Terrifier - was actually decent for a low budget horror slasher film. Gave me a bit of nightmare on elm street vibes but with a clown. Will give terrifier 2 and 3 a watch soon to see how the story develops. 5/10

The Substance - more nudity than a game of thrones episode and a storyline that you would expect to see in a black mirror episode. Some funny moments but the film lost me when the young woman was able to do DIY all by herself. Some good editing and cinematography moments though. 6/10

Been a while since I’ve seen it but thought It Follows was rubbish. Just walk quite quickly and you’re fine. Or you know fly somewhere. It’s got a sequel coming soon which isn’t a surprise given these horror films always get sequels.

Can you put your finger on a previous horror incarnation where a shape shifting wraith screws victims to death and the curse is passed STD like?

I just didn’t find it scary. The thing following them shambles along at walking pace. It would be so easy to avoid.

The sequel is called They Follow so if there is a horde of them then maybe it might be a bit more scary
