Last Film You Watched

Watching a channel 5 Xmas movie called “Christmas on 5th Avenue”.

Never seen one of these ‘Hallmark’-type Xmas movies, and they’re every bit as bad as I expected.
There's a film channel called "GREAT! christmas" on your freeview box somewhere (channel 52 for me) that is showing back to back christmas indulgencies non stop.
Todays tripe is...'The christmas chalet', 'The mistletoe promise', 'Christmas around the corner', 'Oh christmas tree', 'Forever christmas', 'Family for christmas'.

Goes again from 8am tomorrow. Abominable.

This is physically difficult to watch.

The bad acting and dialogue was somewhat charming to start with, and it was quite amusing spotting the obvious sets, stock footage shots, and shots out of focus, but it is grating so bad now. 15 minutes left.

Went a bit leftfield last night and out of curiosity and never having watched one, went to see an Indian film, which has really good reviews - Amaran.

Biographical action film, which followed the life of one of India’s most decorated officers - Major Mukund and his elite regiment.

The battle sequences where on a par with anything I’ve ever seen, but the romantic scenes where just bonkers and there were a lot of them !

I’ve no idea how the Bollywood films are put together, but I’m assuming that the intertwining of the romantic scenes, with the main story is part and parcel of the way the films are put together.

All in all an enjoyable film, that was very watchable, despite the mad romantic stuff.
