An old film which I’d never seen before, Piledriving Miss. Daisy starring Morgan Freeman, in a story about the relationship between some old white lady and a black man.

The Apprentice. I found it to be a decent watch. It does a g9od job of presenting the relationship between Trump and Roy Cohn and the influence Cohn had on him. Worth a watch IMO.

Yeah, I thought it was absolute garbage

It’s a direct sequel as it talks about the events of the first film. The main character’s mum is a returning character from the 1992 version and he is also a massive part of the story of the original.

Clearly I wasn’t paying too much attention when it was on - prob why I seem to think it was ok

Probably not a film I would have seen anyway but it’s released on Wednesday and stars Dwayne the rock Johnson, Chris Evans and Lucy Liu.

Normally means it`s going to be a stinker and they know it.

There was no advance screenings of the new Joker film and we found out pretty quickly why !

Watched In The Land of Saints and Sinners on Saturday night, really enjoyed it.

Fun creature feature that surprised me - was expecting some kind of The Asylum / low end BlumHouse horribly rendered cheap CGI affair but it uses a lot of practical effects rather than relying heavily on digital which helps no end.

Still holds up really well. Also can’t help but think it’s hugely underrated.

Strange one Douglas, seemed to make a few 'pot-boiler' type films in that era, all with a similar vibe, subtle menace, quick to do violence, deranged and descending.
