Last Film You Watched

Must have missed the beginning part.

But stiiiiiill... It's 1990, not 1890?!

I still find it a bit implausible that there was no other form of communication to get a message through?!?

But I suppose it wouldn't make for a good film if he stayed with the neighbours until they got back? 🤷‍♂️

Or maybe I'm just trying to be an Xmas Grinch and ruin the film by finding plot holes in it?! 😜
With so many properties knocked off, how come the only police in the film is gold toothed Joe? And how come the only gun in the house of an obvious republican property is an air gun? And how often do tarantula's need feeding anyway?

And watching Joe Pesci as a cold-blooded sociopathic tough guy in 'Goodfellas', to becoming one of the 'Sticky Bandits' who gets his arse handed to him by a child with comedic booby-trap pranks?!?

It just does not compute! 😂

Dune (1984)

Some really hammy 80s soap opera style acting and it definitely shows why Villeneuve opted for multiple parts. Ginger Harkonnens don't exactly work but the Guild Navigator blasting light out of it's permanently bleeding ringpiece was quite something. A mess though and looks like it took a severe beating in the editing room.

Sting in Flying Wing Codpiece is a famous image but Patrick Stewart wins for charging into battle holding a pug and then later on rocking a grimy looking action skullet.

Really enjoyed this, won't be for everyone due to the religious mentions, but well worth a watch, sex, drugs, music, foul language

Watched it last night.

Really funny and well put together.

A proper laugh with an underlying serious message.

Never realised that Knee Cap are a proper band and did a blinding set at Glastonbury this year !

They remind me very much of an Irish Language version of the early Prodigy stuff ( which is a massive compliment )
