It recounts LBJ and passage of civil rights acts in the mid-60s.

Shenandoah (1965)
Expected a western, got a civil war drama/thriller and it's quite good, I must say. James Stewart, who I've only ever seen in Vertigo before this, is great as the lead actor, and the film did get me invested in his family. The stunt work in the battle scenes is crazy, as it usually is in "westerns" from this era. 7/10
Watched on a bluray with no extras whatsoever.

Probably Bullet train for me, it's a premier, I've heard it's crud but I watched Prey the other day, otherwise it'd be the simply hilarious 'Heartbreak ridge'. Clint is old in this and its 1986. Anyway, only one contender later at 10:55. I get the feeling Pitt plays a bit like his character Floyd from 'True romance' in that he's a dope. Comedy thriller. Not an easy piece of work to make right.
