Brief Encounter, classic film, never heard anyone speak in her accent though

I watch that every few months on YouTube. Tried to watch it other night but it's not free on there anymore, great film![]()
Still amazing.
9 "You, you 'See U En Tees' out of 10.
Good shoutWatched 'The Zone of Interest' and 'Longlegs' over the Christmas period (How festive!)
The Zone of Interest was excellent. Really clever use of foley sounds and camera perspectives.
Really enjoyed Longlegs as well. Nick Cage was at his camp best. I get the feeling they'd took some cinematography inspiration from the first season of True Detective.
The sweeping shots and and static dusk/dawn shots were very evocative of it.

I watched Dead Poets Society last night, loved it although I guessed the very sad scene near the end of the film and was wishing I was wrong——-I wasn’t and it really upset me, I’ll watch it again and most probably learn something new from it.
The earlier film I'm thinking about was "Red Army" (also great) but not part of the ESPN "30 for 30" series.Russian 5, a film about the Russian players for the Detroit Red Wings. Excellent sports documentary. ESPN did a 30 by 30 on this same topic years ago but the new one is better. On Prime.
I watched Carry-On yesterday and thought it was "okay" at best. I then watched St. Vincent, which I liked.Carry-on with Taron Edgerton. Absolute tripe on par with most Netflix offerings nowadays
