Last Film You Watched

Just watched Moneyball. Thought it was really good film, good acting and a good story. Not even into baseball but that was irrelevant, it was a theme that could be seen through all sports.

LAte 80's film. 'Major League' - its a good baseball film, as is 'Cobb'.

Having endured 'EagleEye' (wnak!) watched 'Outland' and 'How to get a head in advertising'. Outland I had seen and knew was a solid 7.5/10. Loath him like I do, Connery is still superb, naff makeup'd tats, bad syrups and loads of gravitas. Quality (also good to see 'razors' from LGF get a run out).
Had never seen 'How to get ahead in Advertising' and although the character seemed plucked directly from 'withnail' he did occasionally up the game and deliver some funnies. 7/10. Definitely on the rewatch merry-go-round.

Watched Ace Ventura Pet Detective and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night.
Today I'm going to go watch The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo in English, because the last one I watched was in Swedish with subtitles.

Did you watch it after that thread someone made yesterday? I did. Great film.
I thought for the first ten minutes or so it could easily have been Everton and Moyesy.
Now we just need some fat socially awkward bloke to tell us how to make signings.
