Bought the Harry Potter series on Bluray for Xmas for the wife and watched the first one the other day. Turns out I'd never seen it, glad she's in to something that's watchable rather than some awful 'chick-flick'

Haywire.

Well.... It looks good. Jazzy soundtrack. Unfortunately style over substance really. Overcomplicated plot which plods along between action scenes.
It's basically a vehicle for Gina Caron to look great and kick people in the head. She excels at both. She's not going to win an Oscar anytime soon but I'm sure as hell not going to break it to her.

Watched Logan's Run yesterday.

I went to see 'In Time' which was good, and I was told it was like a remake of Logan's Run but highly tweaked and less weird.

It looked Clockwork Orange-ish when it first started, so i expected it to be a classic which I would be amazed by and shocked that I hadn't already seen.

Unfortunately, it was sh*t.

The Walking Dead is a beast of a show. Just watched the season 2 finale, and it is top drawer viewing.

Watch a film called 'Good' the other night. Viggo Mortenson plays a University teacher in Germany as the Nazis are coming to power. He doesn't want anything to do with the regime and his best friend is a Jewish psychologist. Interesting focus and very well produced, directed and acted from all involved. Thought it was a gem actually.
