Think for me the distraction of the subtitles stops me concentrating on things like whether the acting is spot on. I thought the acting was more hammy in Tell no one, but probably depends on the mood, & I was a few wine glasses down for The secret in their eyes..

Loved Secret in Their Eyes, that aerial scene into the chase through the stadium is astonishing.

Watched two 80's flicks today.

Field of Dreams. (1989)

To continue my baseball fest.

But Christ this film is bad! I don't remember it being as bad. But it's bad.

1.5 Championship Belts out of 5

And.

Memphis Belle (1990...so not 80's. Ffs ij)

Oh well.

Still an ace movie.

With a hobbit, a Baldwin and Josh from Friends in it.

Aged ok, the plane bits look a bit dodge but not too bad.

Saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind last night. Was pretty good also. Ruffalo, Wood and Dunst are such geeks

Also saw Donnie Brasco and Sunshine recently. Donnie Brasco was good, no Goodfellas tho for me. And Event Horizon rang for Sunshine, and wants it's.... well everything back!

It is good tho.

Sunshine is cool, spooky and bright. A clever combination!

I remember watching the Sally B and the other B-17's flying over Royston and Duxford when they came back from filming most nights when they made the film.
Also use to watch them when they did some of the filming for FULL METAL JACKET at Bassingbourn Barracks
