Just been to see Gone Girl... Pretty good. Affleck's ok. The lawyer is cool.

Just watched 'The Day After'. Classic post-nuclear apocalypse starring Jason Robards and a young Steve Gutenberg.

Brilliant film, and very sobering.

Watched "In the loop" last night. Thought it was pretty good, never seen "The thick of it" though so don't know how it stands up to that.

She chose...'Coyote Ugly'

It's so bad it's not even funny. I don't mind a decent chick flick but this isn't one.

She still loves it though. I don't get it. But I suppose i'm not supposed to.

The thick of it is superb, well, the first few seasons are anyway. Peter Capaldi is a genius

One of my earliest ever memories of a film is the bloke that drives into the toxic waste in the first Robocop and then just explodes when he gets hit by the car. That's how I want to remember Robocop, so I think I'll swerve the new one.
