I also watched fury recently, in fact I watched it in Lille to kill time as I was on an early coach, very cliche characters but some great action so it was very enjoyable, that and the vodka I put in my coke zero.

I have been on a bit of a Kubrick buzz lately. It was A Clockwork Orange two nights ago. Probably my least favourite of his films but it was okay this time around.

Watched Fury last week and left the cinema thinking "oh wow" but by the morning was thinking "really, are you sure". 8/10 for a decent action movie, 4/10 for the horrors of war realism it was meant to portray. The Brits and the Canadians got a 2 second mention, so fair play there to the Hollywood historical research unit.

Watched ' The Book Of Life ', in the cinema with my daughter today. Really good. 8/10
