Last Film You Watched

I watched Chef this afternoon and followed it up with Live, Die, Repeat. Chef was good but I thought I would like it more based on reviews. I enjoyed Live, Die, Repeat more than I thought I would. They did a good job changing the title on that movie. Edge of Tomorrow sounds silly and doesn't represent the movie very well.

Very slow yet promising build up...then everything all rushed...then pointlessly dragged out and sone absolutely retarded twists as the end which actually make the movie as a whole make no sense.

Many pretentious losers on websites saying its a masterpiece...its not.

Edit -- girlfriend fell asleep.

Anyone seen Intersellar yet? Thoughts?

Cheers, I'll no doubt watch it, I think it looks like something that needs to be seen on the big screen because of the cinematography but the story has a bit of a cheesy premise.

Should probably create a spoiler thread when youve seen it too...some of it is just bizarre.

Watched Interstellar yesterday, I really liked it, it is an interesting idea, it is a bit slow to get going, but I would watch it again. If you liked Inception, you will probably like this, of you hated Inception, you will probably hate interstellar as well.

My girlfriend came with me, she was bored in parts, but cried like a baby at some parts, I could hear other people crying in the cinema as well, something I've not heard since I went to see Marley & Me!

I watched two movies recently.

The new Turtles movies.

Expected bad bad things. But it's really not too bad.

Yes it's a little silly. Yes it's way over the top. Yes it's all very obvious.

But it's a Michael Bay Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. Exactly what you'd expect.

As with his Transformers films his first one is ok. But you can defo see where further Turtles films will be awfully bad. Just like the Transformers one get slowly worse.

Overall, not awful. Not great. It's a Turtles movie.

2 and a half championship belts out of 5

The second movie was:

Dawn of Planet of the Apes

Didn't really like it.

Something about the whole concept doesn't fit well with me.

Decent effect though I guess.

2 Championship Belts

Interstellar - large step up from Gravity in terms of cinematography, and the score is superb. Even Stephen Hawkins and Goat struggle with quantum physics so Zatara was bound to suffer.
