Last Film You Watched

Just watched Area 51. Total tosh.

Three young conspiracy theorists attempt to uncover the mysteries of Area 51, the government's secret location rumored to have hosted encounters with alien beings. What they find at this hidden facility exposes unimaginable secrets.

Seen that it had the potential to be a good movie but didnt make it

Last night, myself and the girlfriend watched this:

I had been moaning to my friend that I hadn't seen a decent horror in years and he recommended this to me. It's ace. I'm a bit sick of films that just make you jump, but this one properly gets under your skin and makes you feel that slowly escalating sense of dread. Slightly disappointing in the final third. It gets intense, but I often feel horror movies get slightly spoiled by the reveal. That being said, I liked the actual ending of the film and I thought about it a lot before I went to sleep. 4.5 disturbed children out of 5.

Excellent summation mate.

2008 remake of George Romeros 1985 classic.

Utter garbage. Even a cameo by Ving Rhymes and the very lovely Mena Suvari in the lead can't save it.

A waste of 1hr 40mins of my life.

One zombie out of ten and that's only because Mena Suvari was in it.

Sounds very similar to the film - Sinister. Which I highly recommend if you haven't seen it. Similar vein in that it's a really slow build up involving kids as the target. It's very dsiturbing rather than gory and Ethan Hawke is excellent in the lead.

If you like films like this and haven't seen it, I'd highly recommend - Sinister .

Similar vein in that involves kids and is horrendously creepy rather than gory. Ethan Hawke excellent in the lead and it genuinely disturbed me which takes a lot !

Loved Sinister just did not get into Babadook, though I can understand where your coming from it was at least something different

Just watched foxcatcher. Excellent film. Steve wotsit and the guy who plays Mark Schultz were excellent. Based on true story. Recommended.
